Short summary:  The author will try to help the addressee in getting back the stolen copy of Harvey's de motu cordis, and both Cushing and Fulton will surely help from that end; the author believes that Quaritch was very unwise to buy a book of that sort from a stranger and he points out that the booksellers can have no legal claims on the addressee in asking him to give them what they had given for the book
