Comments to date:  Marshall Hall died in 1857. Winslow is married when he writes the letter. No date has been found for his marriage , but the first child, Forbes Edward Winslow, was born in 1842.
Short summary:  Back in London. M. Hall very cold, but will recover. Keep away from the heights at Dover. Caught sciatica there years ago. Dover an amusing place. Hall's remedy against hymoptasis a spirit lotion applied to the chest. Etc.
