COMMENTS
Comments:  The original interview was published October 15. In the interview Bergmann "gave utterance to some very grave charges against Dr. Morell Mackenzie in reard to the statements embodied in his famous book on the Emperor Fredrick's fatal illness." On October 20 the New York Herald discovered that the London Daily Chronicle expressed doubts regarding the authenticity of the article. Hence the Herald contacted Bergmann who sent the reprinted certificate.
